Founded in 2003, Paramount Ambulance is a locally owned private ambulance service headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa. A family-run operation, we've grown from a community-focused EMS company into a regional leader spanning northeast Iowa, southwest Wisconsin, and northwest Illinois.
Our EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics are fully licensed, certified, and committed to the highest level of pre-hospital care. With over 50 professionals on staff and a fleet of modern vehicles, we operate as a mobile intensive care unit — moving patients safely, swiftly, and with compassion.
We are a preferred provider for Blue Cross insurance, and we accept Medicare, Medicaid, Medical Associates Health Plans, and all major private insurers.
